Most likely is a clematis recta, which is a free standing shrub -not a tree- has a cluster of white, star-shaped scented flowers with a strong fragrance similar to vanilla. It can be trained to climb and attracts bees and butterflies
No - clematis recta has got a different withering - i know them because they grow in our area - :) sorry :) if i have got the chance i will click them, again - but cannot promise when - thank you Alf.
Sorry I couldn’t help out; anyhow, do a search for Clerodendrum trichotomum (harlequin glorybower). It could be it or another cultivar of glorybower. They grow up to 15 feet tall. Good luck with your search.
It looks like a Rangoon Creeper, a Chinese honeysuckle vine, or a type of Glorybower
ReplyDeleteThank you Alf - it is a tree... no vine...
DeletePost a pic of the tree to have a better visual
ReplyDeleteIt is not in my area - therefore - i cannot just run there and click it...
